Winter Coat Drive Results!
In our efforts to educate people about circularity and helping people in need, we hosted our first ever Winter Coat Drive. We hosted the drive for New York Cares, to ensure our coats would go to New Yorkers in need. We set a crazy ambitious goal of collecting 100 winter coats.
The coat drive could not have been a success without the support of our Friends! The Butterfly Club’s new location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn served as our physical drop off location. Our friends at Repurose Your Life helped share info about our coat drive to get more support!
In the end, we had 11 amazing donors who donated 26 winter coats! We were able to collect 19 women’s coats, 4 men’s coats, and 3 kid’s coats. Although we only made it to 26% of our goal, we are so happy to know we were able to help 26 New Yorkers! THANK YOU, thank you, thank you to all of you for your support and help!
